The Women’s Association of Ladue Chapel provides opportunities for fellowship, study and outreach for all women of the congregation. The women of Ladue Chapel also contribute to a wide variety of benevolences through the donations from our wonderful women of the church and donations made for craft items throughout the year.
Book Discussion Group
All are welcome for a lively discussion of the current month’s selected book. We meet on the second Monday of each month at Ladue Chapel at 1:00 p.m. If you are a woman interested in reading and discussing books, please join us!
General Meetings are generally held on the first Tuesday of each month, with a program and luncheon following. Our meetings are held at Ladue Chapel during September through April. Our May meeting is usually held off site.
Reservations for program luncheons may be made by contacting the church office by noon on the Friday preceding the meeting. Babysitting is available, but must be requested when reservations are made. Cost of lunches may vary between programs.
Circles focus their studies on specific scriptural reference. Our Mary Circle meet together at 10:30 a.m. on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at the church.
Mary Circle: Mary Circle is a monthly fellowship and Bible study for the Ladue Chapel women. It is open to women of all ages and meets the third Tuesday of each month, from September through May. The group meets from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in Bickel Conference Room. If you cannot attend the meetings, you can still study at home using the free DVD provided by the church.
The bible study shosen for 2021-2022 is titled “What My Grandmothers Taught Me: Learning from the Women in Mathew’s Geneology of Jesus”. This cirriculum, like past studies, was written by and for Presbyterian women and is published by the national office of the Presbyterian Women’s Association. this study workbook will be available for a nominal in the church office. Sewers (Needlework and Crafts)
Sewers (Needlework and Crafts) meet each Tuesday all year long at 10:30 a.m. (except General Meeting Tuesdays) at the church. We bring our lunch to socialize at noon. Funds raised from the sale of items created by our Sewers are donated to the Women’s Association benevolences.
Bandages for Developing Countries
The Holy Tearers meet most Tuesdays throughout the year (except General Meeting Tuesdays) at 10:30 a.m. to tear and roll sheets for bandages used in overseas mission hospitals. They bring lunch to socialize at noon.
