One Great Hour of Sharing
Each year on Palm Sunday Ladue Chapel joins with other Presbyterians and Christians in One Great Hour of Sharing, which is the single, largest way that we come together every year to work for a better world.
In Isaiah 58, God issues a call and a challenge – to love one another more deeply by sharing what we have with those in need. One Great Hour of Sharing is our direct response to the ways in which God has called us to share.
Your gift to One Great Hour of Sharing will help to provide people the following:
- Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA): They are currently responding to the California mudslides, Northwest fires, Mexico earthquakes and the continuing aftermath of hurricanes Irma and Maria in the Caribbean and United States.
- Presbyterian Hunger Program: Provides systems for access to healthy food and clean water.
- Self-Development of People: Provides resources to people striving to better their lives in the face of injustice or oppression.
Join with Presbyterians worldwide in sharing God’s love with our neighbors-in-need around the world by providing relief from natural and human-caused disasters, food for the hungry, and support for the poor and oppressed.
