We seek to provide serious, meaningful learning opportunities for disciples of Christ to engage their faith in their daily lives for all ages. As a faith community, we commit ourselves to a lifelong journey of discipleship as our faith seeks understanding, and our understanding seeks faith.

Our Sunday Adult Education and Children classes run from September through May of each year.

Adult Education classes on Sunday morning begin at 9:15 a.m. and Sunday School is available after the Children’s Message during worship.

Faith Formation
As the educational landscape continues to shift toward a model of participatory leaning that engages multiple intelligences, we provide such learning experiences for disciples of all ages here at Ladue Chapel. In doing so, we deepen our understanding of the gospel and of each other. Our working assumption is this:
“Christian education is not something to be merely taught but a way of life to be encouraged and to be lived. It is faith formation for the daily life and practice of ministry.”

As we are engaging in ministry together, we live into the baptismal vow we make to our children, youth, and adults at their baptism, and which was made to us when we were baptized. Together, then, we are committed to

• Discovering faith
• Forming faith
• Living faith

Our entire faith formation experiences are designed to stimulate faith in a holistic way. When we come to church on Sunday morning, we find ourselves as part of a vibrant, caring community that supports one another and gives thanks and praise to God in worship, mission and ministry to others.

In today’s world, being educated about our faith is not nearly enough. It never has been, it never will be. Rather, Christian “education,” faith formation at its best, is always an invitation to discipleship to “come and see” (John 1:46).”

Regardless, whether our faith seeks understanding or our understanding seeks faith, Ladue Chapel is the place where we can explore all aspects of our faith together.

So come and see!
