Handbells provide a unique opportunity to “make a joyful noise to the Lord,” and add a distinctive sparkle to worship services.

Genesis Ringers
Novice ringers
Mondays from 5:45 until 6:15 p.m.
Genesis Ringers is for beginning ringers, with emphasis on proper ringing techniques and music reading (prior experience is not necessary). Directed by Anne Peacock, the group rehearses in Fellowship Hall South (the stage) on a 3-octave set of Whitechapel handbells. Genesis Ringers is primarily a training group and rings only occasionally in worship.

Revelation Ringers
Intermediate ringers
Mondays from 5:45 until 6:15 p.m.
Revelation Ringers is a multi-generational group for those who have mastered the basics of handbell ringing. While emphasis in this group is also on training, Revelation Ringers does play in worship a few times throughout the year.

Carillon Ringers
Grades 9-12
Sundays from 4:00 until 5:30 p.m.
Our advanced handbell choir for youth meets on Sundays afternoons and requires a commitment to attend rehearsals and learn the music and bell-ringing techniques, as well as to help with fundraisers. Carillon Ringers play in worship several times throughout the year, with the highlight being their annual tour in June. Recent tours have taken the group as far away as Toronto, Denver, Minneapolis and Cape Cod. Carillon Ringers have recorded two CDs: Bell Tour 2009 and Carols of the Bells (2015).

If you would like to order a CD recording of the Carillon Ringers, please contact Anne Peacock.

Chapel Ringers
Thursdays from 6:30 until 7:15 p.m. in the Fireside Room
Chapel Ringers is for adult ringers, ringing intermediate and early advanced repertoire. They ring several times throughout the year. A special project for this season is a Christmas program for the Wednesday Club on December 7.
